Dear Shir Tikvah, 

Due to the severe chill, we are postponing our scheduled panel and will move onto Zoom only for an alternate program. We had designed our panel as a multi-modal but primarily in-person event and want to make sure that this format can be honored.

Tonight, as we mark 100 days of suffering since October 7th, we want to take the time to study our community’s core commitment of b’tselem Elohim as it relates to Israel/Palestine, to say kaddish and share virtual space to connect with one another and hear each other’s perspectives. We hope that this learning session, with Rabbi Arielle and Kohennet Sharon Jaffe, will provide more grounding in our core values so that we can continue to find common ground and sustain disagreement in our responses to Israel/Palestine. 

We are grateful to our panelists and look forward to hearing their voices at our rescheduled date. We look forward to seeing you tonight on Zoom!
