Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is committed to building the quality of life, health, and economic prosperity of the seven-county metro region by producing, preserving, and advocating for affordable homeownership. Twin Cities Habitat offers an affordable Homeownership Program with a fixed, low-interest mortgage, financial coaching, homebuyer education classes, and post-purchase support. We rely on thousands of volunteers every year to carry out our mission. Be a part of increasing access to affordable housing for hundreds of Twin Cities families each year by lending a hand on a construction site. No experience is necessary and no one is asked to do anything they’re not comfortable doing. Volunteering is a full-day commitment, and volunteers are asked to be on site from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Homebuilding. Feel free to reach out to Aaron Lichtov, (Shir Tikvah member and Habitat employee) with any questions.
