Perhaps the most sacrosanct six words within Judaism are: “Shema Yisrael YHVH Elohaynu YHVH Echad." We often recite the Shema in a rote fashion, without necessarily understanding each word, or the text as a whole.  The focus of these four classes will be to delve inside the Hebrew letters and roots of each of the six words to unpack their spiritual meanings. Through discussion, contemplation, and recitation of the Shema, participants will learn the wisdom of this text from the inside out as a spiritual practice.
