Conversations about what happens to us after death are hard. It’s easy to get overwhelmed. As difficult as advanced planning is, it helps avoid a crisis during the challenging and stressful time of loss.
Jim Wardlow, manager and funeral director at Hodroff-Epstein Memorial Chapel and Rabbi Sharon Stiefel will be holding a program at Hodroffs in Minneapolis on Thursday, January 26 at 7 pm. We will go over traditional Jewish burial practices, the choice of cemeteries, the information funeral homes need, caskets, the option of cremation, costs and pre-planning arrangements. We’ll learn about options if a partner is not Jewish. Come curious and eager to learn. We will have an opportunity to tour the funeral home, too.
While no one looks forward to addressing these details, this session will provide you with information to plan ahead of time.
