On July 22nd at 7:00 PM we will gather in the Shir Tikvah sanctuary both online and in person for a service integrating traditional liturgy and chanting with niggunim and song. Together we'll sing, pray, hear Eicha (lamentations), and allow our hearts to break open in the company of community.
After the service, we invite you to walk, roll, or drive to sites in our communities where people were stolen by ICE. After the service we’ll share sites near to Shir Tikvah, but also invite you to gather near your homes or neighborhoods. This toolkit provides modern liturgies, songs and poems and stories of loss, as well as a data base to see where people were and are being taken throughout the Twin Cities.
