Fight like a Mensch with Tamar Ghidalia and Jessika Hepburn

Rooted in the 1,000-year-old Jewish tradition of Mussar (applied Jewish ethics) and Chassidut (applied Jewish mysticism), this curriculum invites small groups of people to engage deeply in a learning community over ten sessions. With the support of spiritual practice, participants cultivate the courage to confront authoritarianism, the patience to maintain broad coalitions despite political tensions, and the emotional capacity to process fear and heartbreak in healthy, sustaining ways.
This program is offered in partnership with Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah, and is part of an
effort to research best practices for sustaining self-led Jewish education groups. Your Involvement helps support this effort, strengthening Jewish communal learning spaces, and equipping participants with tools for nurturing democracy now and for the long haul.
The group will meet on the following days in 2026: Mondays 4/13-20-27, 5/4-11-18, 6/1-8-15 -22 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm CT.
