At the heart of Elul is the sound of the shofar, whose call invites us to awaken, reflect, and prepare for the new year. Join Shir Tikvah for Shofar in the Park, with three opportunities to gather in community, explore a story or text, hear the shofar, and cool off at the splash pad. Because Rosh HaShanah falls on Shabbat this year, the shofar will not be sounded on the holiday, making these gatherings one of the only opportunities to experience its powerful call this season. We hope you'll join for either or both of these events!
