Special Screening of No Other Land, winner of Academy Award Best Documentary

Sunday, April 27th, 6:30pm-9:00pm at Shir Tikvah, includes post-film discussion and action.

This Oscar-winning film documents the struggle of a Palestinian community on the West Bank, Masafer Yatta, to resist efforts by the Israeli military and Jewish settlers to push them off their land. It also shows the complexities of comradeship between a Jew and a Palestinian, as a Palestinian activist, Basel Adra, and an Israeli filmmaker, Yuval Abraham, work together to bring word of what is happening in Masafer Yatta to the outside world and to fight together for a better, more just future.
