Spring Garden Clean-up Day

Join Us in the Garden!

We invite you to spend time in the Garden! Join fellow community members this spring as we prepare the Shir Tikvah Story Garden for another fruitful growing season. We are excited for many more opportunities this season for involvement in the garden: from planting ,weeding, and harvesting, to major improvements! Mark your calendars for our Spring Garden Clean-up Day on Sunday, May 4, 9:30-12:00pm – sign up here to let us know you’ll be joining us!

The Shir Tikvah Story Garden is a place to cultivate, share and celebrate the diverse stories of our community through seed, food sharing, beauty and flavor. Shir Tikvah has been partnering with Harvest Moon Edible Landscapes to sustainably grow organic veggies, flowers and herbs onsite since 2011. 100% of the produce has been donated to local food shelves directly serving community members most in need. This year the garden will also provide produce for the Shir Tikvah kitchen, seeds for the Shir Tikvah Seed Library, and new partnerships through to culturally significant plantings.

Keep up to date on all things garden at Shir Tikvah by joining our email list here. We will let you know about upcoming garden volunteer days, harvests, celebrations, and would love any other garden ideas about how to build community around the garden!
