Potluck Lunch and Tashlich

We’ll gather for a potluck lunch at Saint Joan of Arc immediately following services.

Please plan to bring a vegetarian potluck dish if you’re able, and volunteers from our Membership & Engagement Committee will be available to receive your offerings and refrigerate them as/if need be. Dishes do need to be vegetarian, and if it is possible please label your dishes with your name so we can ensure they return to you!

Afterward the potluck, you’re invited to join us at Shir Tikvah for tashlich at Minnehaha creek. Tashlich, or “casting off” is a visceral experience during which we symbolically throw our sins into moving water. We’ll collect natural items along Minnehaha Creek to toss into the waters. Join Shir Tikvah rabbis, members of the Membership Committee, and community for a meaningful ritual and a chance to enter 5786 with full and open heart.
