Join Shir Tikvah and Jewish Community Action on Sunday August 3rd at 10:30 AM for a Tisha B’av service on the lawn outside of the Whipple Building. The Whipple Building, a deportation processing and detention site, has been a continuous space of protest and outrage. Currently, plainclothes ICE officers have been witnessed kidnapping people after their detention hearings. You can learn more from this MIRAC press conference. On Tisha B'av we invite you to join us at this site of massive injustice to grieve, call one another to action, and connect with our ancestral call to repair the world.

Please plan to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on, and we will provide a few extra chairs for those who need them.
