The morning service of Yom Kippur asks us to confront our past and seek genuine change. It’s a day dedicated to self-examination and spiritual renewal, providing us with the opportunity to reflect deeply on our actions and commit to personal transformation. Through intense self-reflection and repentance, we strive to align our actions with a deeper embodiment of justice, aiming to correct past wrongs and commit to fair and righteous behavior. Featuring a participatory Torah service, prayer leadership by Shir Tikvah’s soulful choir and community prayer leaders, kavannot by community members, and a dvar torah from Rabbi Joey.
