Rosh HaShanah Morning Youth and Families T’filah

Tuesday, September 23, 2025 | 9:30am

All welcome; designed for K’tanimot (families with newborns, babies, and tots) through 1st grade families.

Led by Shana, Forrest, and Rabbi Arielle.

5786 is coming! Ring it in with community at Shir Tikvah! This Rosh HaShanah, our Families T’filot center on the theme, “Lilmod u’Lilamed (ללמוד וללמד) - To Learn and To Teach.” During the Morning Rosh HaShanah Families service, we will sing, dance, and learn through this theme of learning and teaching as we celebrate the new year.

As 5785 ends and we approach 5786, we invite our youngest families to consider these prompts:

-What is your favorite thing to learn about? Why?

-What is your favorite book, movie, song, television show, or toy that teaches you something? Why do you like it so much?

-If you became an expert in something, what would it be? Why?

Have these conversations as a family before Rosh HaShanah and bring your thoughts with you to the service. We look forward to hearing what you discuss!

Shir Tikvah Rosh HaShanah Youth and Families T’filot take place at St. Joan of Arc on Monday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 23. All are welcome to all services; evening Families services are designed for 2nd through 5th graders and their families and morning Families services are designed for newborns through 1st graders and their families.
