Yizkor offers us a time to remember loved ones who have passed away. It connects us to our personal histories and the impact of those who have shaped our lives. This service also continues the theme of introspection, helping us to focus on making meaningful changes in our lives.
Yizkor Submissions
Please use this form. We remember loved ones of blessed memory during Yizkor, sharing names and images of loved ones who have died in years' past.
This year we will:
1. Create a printed Yizkor Memorial Booklet listing the names of our loved ones, which will be available during the Yizkor service 5786 and throughout the year.
2. Share our communal Yizkor slideshow with images of loved ones during the service. Everyone included in the slideshow will also have their name printed in the booklet.
For submitting photos and names:
If you've previously submitted a photo, you do not need to send it again.
To submit a photo, please use this form or email Nikolina, clergy manager at nikolina@shirtikvahmn.org. Please complete one form per photo.
To share physical copies of photos, mail them to Shir Tikvah, by September 15th.
Giving in memory of a loved one is a meaningful mitzvah. The suggested gift is $54 per name/photo. Gifts can be made by check or here.

We end Neilah with havdalah, spirited dancing and breakfast.

Led by Shana, Forrest, and Rabbi Arielle.
5786 is here! Start it in community at Shir Tikvah! This Yom Kippur, our Families T’filot center on the theme, “Lilmod u’Lilamed (ללמוד וללמד) - To Learn and To Teach.” During the Yom Kippur Families service, we will sing, dance, and learn through this theme of learning and teaching as we reflect on the last year.
