Tzedek Tzunday

Tzedek Tzunday

Tzedek Tzunday, on February 5th, is our annual day of action, advocacy, and awareness with students and families. This year’s intentionally falls around Tu B’Shvat and is focused on environmental justice. You are invited to sign up for one or more commitments - both at-home activities and projects at Shir Tikvah! The day itself begins with a synchronous, multi-access program at Shir Tikvah and on Zoom at 9:30am, and continues throughout the day with both synchronous and asynchronous activities.

In place of JAMI classes on Sunday, February 5th, we take on the responsibility of prioritizing our planet by - at Shir Tikvah or at home - committing to an activity or two that demonstrates our care for and respect of the environment. Students who do not regularly meet on Sundays should consider this an important day to join in the efforts with their classmates and families.

Sign up by typing each name into the spreadsheet linked here. Take care not to edit this sheet beyond adding your name(s). Please do not exceed the provided capacity of each activity or project. Scroll to the left and right to see all of the Shir Tikvah activities and projects; sign-up is not necessary for activities and projects done at home.
